My Dear and Fellow Members of Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK!
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.
May the Lord of mankind open unto you the gates of His mercy and may He so ordain that you are always accompanied by the supplication of His angels. Ameen.
As Allah wills, Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah help him with His manifest support) has very graciously appointed my humble and unworthy self to the office of President Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK. I would like to record my gratitude to my Beloved Huzur for the enormous confidence he has reposed in me resulting in my appointment.
I humbly solicit your earnest, fervent and continued prayers that Almighty Allah enables me to discharge this enormous trust and responsibility now placed on my weak and humble shoulders.
I assure you that I will work tirelessly and relentlessly to further the noble ideals, aims and objectives of the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK and pledge my utmost devotion, loyalty and obedience to Hadhrat Khalifatul-Masih.
Let me take the opportunity to pay tribute to our outgoing Chairman, Issah Wemah Sahib, and his executive for their hard work and devotion during the last tenure. I would also like to recognise the efforts and endeavours of all previous executives who laid the foundations of the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK.
I look forward to getting to know and working alongside you all but as I settle into this new role, I solicit your patience, indulgence and absolute co-operation so that, by our united and collective efforts, the torch of Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK continues to burn and burn aloft.
Please pray that Allah showers His immense and manifold blessings on all our affairs and activities so that, purely as a manifestation of His providence, the vanguard of Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK marches forward more rapidly than ever before.
Finally, do kindly keep the afternoon of 10th May 2014 open as we would, Insha’Allah, be holding our first General Meeting (including women and children) under the new administration. I, however, remain at your disposal at all times so feel free to reach out to me at any time with any ideas you might have, any issues you may be facing or in general if I can be of service to you.
Allah bless you all and may the moonlight of His bounty illumine all your abodes. Ameen.
Wassalam.
Yours humbly,
Tommy Kallon.
