Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.
I was requested to provide a message as you gather for the occasion of your National Ijtema. I wish to convey a message that underscores the paramount importance of Taqwa – righteousness – in our lives as Muslims and followers of the Promised Messiah (as).
The Holy Quran illuminates the essence of Taqwa as the cornerstone of our faith, a guiding light that steers our actions, thought, and aspirations towards the path of Allah’s pleasure. It is through the cultivation of Taqwa that we truly embody the teachings of Islam and become beacons of righteousness in a world often shrouded in darkness.
The Promised Messiah (as) elucidated the profound significance of Taqwa, emphasising that it encompasses not only the fulfilment of our obligations towards Allah but also the manifestation of exemplary moral conduct and the purification of our souls. It is through Taqwa that we forge an unbreakable bond with our Creator, seeking His guidance at every step and striving to align our will with His divine decree.
As members of the Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK, you shoulder a sacred responsibility to exemplify the highest standards of Taqwa in your daily lives. Your actions, your words, and your demeanour should reflect the luminous teachings of Islam, serving as a source of inspiration for those around you. Let your conduct be a testament to the transformative power of faith, showcasing the beauty and harmony that righteous and pious actions bring to your existence.
Remember, the path of righteousness is not one of mere lip service but demands unwavering commitment and relentless striving. It requires you to constantly purify your intentions, to seek Allah’s pleasure in every endeavour, and to embody the noble attributes of compassion, humility, and selflessness. It is through the lens of Taqwa that you must view your interactions with others, treating all of Allah’s creation with kindness, empathy, and respect.
In your pursuit of Allah’s nearness through worship ad righteousness, draw strength from the blessed institution of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya, a divine blessing that guides towards the path of righteousness. May you forge an unbreakable bond with Khilafat, seeking its enlightened guidance and striving to fulfil the noble vision of the Promised Messiah (as) for a spiritually elevated community.
May you strive tirelessly to cultivate righteousness in your thoughts, actions, and deeds, becoming shining examples of the beauty and grace of Islam-Ahmadiyyat. Pray that Allah the Almighty grants you the strength and resolve to walk the path of piety and righteousness, making you all worthy recipients of His boundless blessings and eternal favour.
May Allah the Almighty shower His infinite mercy upon you, enable you to attain the lofty standards of righteousness, and make you instruments of spiritual reformation in the world. May Allah also bless your Ijtema in every way. Amin.
